About this event

A family-friendly Sunday of creative activities in the beautiful setting of Bannockburn House, led by a group of 5 local artists from the Bannockburn and East Stirling Creative Network - Vantage Points.

What's on:

- an exhibition trail of artwork produced by the Vantage Points group in collaboration with the local community in the Eastern Villages over the past few months - featuring photography, installations, sculptures made from recycled materials, textiles and banners created in collaboration with local school children over the summer

- creative hands-on activities for all the family, from a treasure hunt, to banner-making, to sculpture and creating land-art mandalas out of recycled material

- video projections of the pilot projects held in May, including a dance performance inspired by the Battle of Bannockburn and filmed at some of the key battle sites

- free tours of Bannockburn House

The event is free to attend but a visiting slot must be booked in advance; please bring your tickets along on the day (even just on your phone). Parking is available on site for free. Refreshments such as coffee and cakes will be vailable on site on a PWYC (Pay What You Can) basis.

Please note the event is planned to be held outdoors, in the grounds of Bannockburn House, apart from the video projections. In case of adverse weather the event is still going to go ahead but we will move the activities to the interior of the house.
