Join us this May as Remembering Together Stirling continues its celebration of community, creativity and the changing seasons. In collaboration with local organisations including the library service, Cornton Nursery, and Cornton Community Council we're hosting a 'street party' style event in the heart of the community (Johnston Avenue) on Thursday, May 2nd, from 2-5pm.
Embracing the themes of nature, community and creativity, our event will offer a variety of drop-in activities suitable for all ages; from hands-on printing and photography workshops led by Joanne Boyle and Lorna Swinney to captivating storytelling sessions with Amanda Edmiston.
Highlights include a specially curated dance performance by Cornton Nursery, in collaboration with artists Saffy Setohy, Grace Turner, and musician Evie Waddell.
The festivities will extend along Johnston Avenue, with stalls showcasing local organisations, creatives, and businesses, street decorations created by the local school children during creative sessions in the library in the run up to the event and wood-fired pizza from Stirling Pizza Company.
The event is free for all to attend. To express an interest in hosting a stall please contact info@artlinkcentral.org
