Scene: Bannockburn and East Stirling

Scene Stirling, Stirling Place Partnership, aims to stimulate an inclusive creative environment in the Stirling area. One of our focuses is to support creative communities that operate outside of the city centre and might face a number of barriers to further development.

Bannockburn and the eastern villages - including Plean, Cowie, Fallin - are a key priority for Scene Stirling to promote opportunities and provide support to the arts scene.

The goals of the upcoming Scene: Bannockburn and East Stirling funding scheme will be:

to strengthen links and connections between artists, creatives and cultural organisations and the community in the Bannockburn and eastern villages area;

and to provide professional support and invest in opportunities that promote creative partnership and energise the local arts and culture scene.

With Scene: Bannockburn and the East Stirling, we are hoping to introduce a co-produced approach to support the local community with identified arts and creativity aspirations.

The new cultural network we are looking to build across these areas will be led by the artists and local community groups - working together to decide how best to utilise this resource in partnership with the Scene Stirling cultural partners.

The launch event will be an opportunity for artists and creatives from the interested areas to showcase their work, and to connect with community groups and cultural organisations operating in East Stirling, with the goal to create a co-producing network to manage the new scheme.

Join us to find out more and to be part of the conversation!

The event will be held on Zoom; book your free ticket on Eventbrite.
