Entries for the next round of Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards (VACMA) are now open.

This programme of small grants supports Scotland-based visual artists and craft makers in their creative and professional development.

Established by Creative Scotland, the awards support practitioners at all stages of their career who have demonstrated a commitment to their work and in developing their practice through new work, new skills or new opportunities.

Funds are allocated by local panels and Stirling is part of the Forth Valley & West Lothian VACMA Scheme, with awards of between £500 and £1,500 available. A £500 bursary for recent graduates and emerging artists has also been introduced. Last year’s list of award winners included local artist Alice Martin.
