Last year’s winner was Forest Floor by Fergus McCreadie.

The Scottish music scene is abuzz with excitement as the highly anticipated Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award returns to Stirling for 2023.

Taking place at The Albert Halls on Thursday 26 October, this prestigious event promises an unforgettable evening celebrating Scotland's finest musical talents.

The lucky recipient of this accolade will claim the coveted title of Scottish Album of the Year, along with the esteemed £20,000 first prize.

Beyond the announcement of the main award, the evening will also bestow recognition upon the winners of two supporting prizes. The Sound of Young Scotland Award and the Modern Scottish Classic Award will honor exceptional contributions to Scottish music, creating a full-circle celebration that spans the past, present, and future of the Scotland’s vibrant music scene.
