The project as described by PJ: ‘I will create and film movement on the different locations where the battle of Bannockburn took place in 1314. The movement will be drawn from research of people’s accounts of the event and personally creating with what I see in those locations now in 2021. With all these short motifs, I would like to create movements around the statue of Robert the Bruce in the grounds of the Battle of Bannockburn Visitors Centre and capture the interactions with passers by. There may be people out on their walks that will see it and, if not, the dance movements will be filmed and made available online.’
