As Covid-19 restrictions eased across Forth Valley, four local makers have joined forces with Creative Stirling to offer free jewellery making workshops for people living in Stirlingshire.

The sessions, led by professional artists Roberta Pederzoli, Jenna McDonald, Andrea Gardiner and Rachel Davies, offered locals a chance to try their hand at jewellery making – with children’s activities running in tandem to give parents some much needed ‘me time’.

Jewellery designer Roberta Pederzoli from Quinta Essenza led the project: “I’m a great believer in the importance of art as a medium to promote wellbeing.

The workshops gave locals an opportunity get creative, relax and connect with other people after the stresses of the pandemic.

The art of making something is a great way to help us focus on the present moment and forget our worries.”
