Scene Stirling is proud to introduce the region’s first creative directory. The new online platform, born from discussions at last year’s Cultural Symposium, offers artists and creatives from across Stirlingshire a space to showcase their talents and make new connections.

"Scene Stirling's Creative Directory is the culmination of ideas sparked at last year's Cultural Symposium, now brought to life with the input and enthusiasm of local creatives," said Kevin Harrison, manager of Scene Stirling. "It exemplifies our commitment as a cultural partnership to transforming dialogue into action, providing a tangible platform for artists to thrive and collaborate both with each other and the wider community."

The directory enables artists and creatives to share their skills, work and contact details with a wider audience, amplifying their visibility amongst potential patrons.

Kevin explained: “The directory will help cultivate a culture of local support by encouraging businesses to engage with and commission talent from within Stirling’s creative community.

“By investing in local creatives, organisations not only enrich their projects with authentic, homegrown talent but also contribute to the vitality of our local artistic landscape.”

The project has received pro bono web support from Chris McMahon of Christy Digital and has attracted support and interest from a host of local artists and creatives since being launched, including Constant Follower frontman Stephen McAll who mooted the idea of a creative directory at the Cultural Symposium.

Stephen said: “It’s fantastic to see the idea brought to life. By showcasing the breadth of talent flourishing within Stirling, the directory highlights just how vibrant our arts and cultural scene really is. I hope it will ignite a new wave of creativity and collaboration.”
