Film Premiere - Incantations: Scott William Urquhart

Scene Stirling is proud to present Incantations: Scott William Urquhart.

The film by creative video production company Tape Rituals offers an insight into the life and musical practice of Scott William Urquhart, a fingerstyle guitarist whose expansive guitar style is evocative of the wild Scottish countryside and mysterious historical remnants around Stirling where Scott is based.

The film draws from performance footage and conversational interviews to illuminate Scott's work as an artist and his connections with the local area.

The project was funded by Stirling's Place Partnership, Scene Stirling.

A microgrant was awarded to musician and filmmaker Omar Aborida of Tape Rituals, to use his talents to promote the local music scene.

Omar Aborida produced and directed this film which offers an insight into Scott's musical journey so far.
